It may seem like in the video I am referring to the companies mentioned ceasing to trade. This is likely not to be the case. My main point was that these big companies are having to drastically change their business model. And, with this, are ceasing to trade and grow as they have been.

I am sure that they will try to change their business model, but with the restrictions on children learning at weekends and in school holidays, it is hard to see how they will generate enough profit. In the Chinese market anyway.

What’s IELTS really all about? Is it worth doing a course to teach it?

Well, don’t be thinking there is a lot of actual researched advice in this update. I do, however, give the web site addresses of two very informative and interesting IELTS prep websites. They are excellent.

Getting paid for August classes? Apparently so…

An update on the email received from Whales English, advising we would be getting paid for the classes done from the 1st August to the 18th August. Again, I will believe it when I see it, but let’ s all move the hell on.
